Teresa Hale

Teresa Hale is regarded as one of the world’s leading health visionaries, Teresa has played a major role in the growth of complementary medicine since she launched The Hale Clinic in London’s illustrious Park Crescent, in 1987.

With a Philosophy and Economics Degree and a post graduate Degree in Education under her belt, it was Teresa’s interest in Meditation and Yoga which steered her towards alternative medicine. As a yoga instructor she found that students would frequently ask her to refer them to Homeopaths, Naturopaths, Osteopaths etc. Seeing the need for a centre where members of the public could consult a range of therapists, she decided to start up The Hale Clinic, which would also allow her to deepen her understanding and practice.

30 years on, Teresa Hale still believes strongly in the practice of Meditation and the benefits it can have to all.

Meditation can be applied to a whole range of situations including Health, Creativity, Mental Ability, Reduction of Stress, the Workplace and Scientific Research. Teresa also has a deep interest in the Philosophical and Spiritual aspects of Meditation.

In a modern world which demands more of us, we are constantly under pressure and our stress levels are through the roof. We find ourselves taking on a larger load, trying to balance work and life as well as trying to maintain important relationships. The demands on oneself can be a detriment to our health and wellbeing.  We immerse in the daily grind, but fail to take time out for ourselves.

For all the chaos of work and life, many feel a need for silence, calm and clarity. We sometimes battle with guilt and depression as to why we are unable to successfully juggle these tasks. So it is perhaps unsurprising that more people are turning to Meditation.

Meditation can reduce stress, help us relax and find a sense of inner peace and clarity.

Meditation gives us that time for ourselves to really be at peace, clear our, minds, remove the chaos and organize our lives. Meditation allows us to think clearly, reduce stress, improve concentration, increase spontaneity and creativity, and build a sense of detachment from everyday situations which may cause us stress or anger.

Teresa Hale runs Meditation classes and Workshops with the aim of providing clients with the tools to successfully balance their lives. She has a great understanding and the realistic approach that the chaos around us may not disappear, but with Meditation you can manage them more effectively with a sense of calmness and clarity.

Teresa has lectured in the US, Italy and the UK. She has also carried out 3 research projects in complementary medicine at Hammersmith Hospital, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and Exeter University. Following the launch of her book, The Hale Clinic Guide to Good Health, Teresa has received critical acclaim and following in her quest to raise awareness of the benefits of a holistic lifestyle.
